Dale SorgenPastor's Notes

Good morning and Welcome to Church!  I hope and pray that you were able to shine the light and love of Jesus Christ into the world this week with every encounter and conversation that you had.  The world needs to know that there is hope and a future and that they are loved and cared for, and the Bible gives us understanding that we are the vessels that God uses to shine His light.

In the book of 2 Corinthians, chapter 5, the apostle Paul tells us that we have been given the ministry of reconciliation in this world.  As we find our purpose in life is to shine the light of Jesus, we will also find that one of the fruits of that light will be reconciliation.  We will see that when we shine we will see ourselves constantly working to be reconciled to one another and we will also find that we will be asked and allowed to help others find reconciliation in their lives.  And, just as we will see reconciliation between men and women, we will also see people hungry to be reconciled to God.

You are God’s chosen vessel to shine the Light of Jesus into this world.  We do that in the way we carry ourselves and in the way we interact confidently and humbly with others.  You are fearfully and wonderfully made by God and He desires to use us each with our special gifts and personalities to shine light to every dark place.  I pray that we will always remember how much we are loved and how much we are needed and wanted by our Father in Heaven.

All for Jesus,

Pastor Dale
