We are half way through our trimester of C.O.G. classes and if you have not joined in on one, you are missing out! Still plenty of time to drop in on a class so jump-start your year with a Bible Study at 9:15am. Calling anyone who wants to enjoy a fun FREE day in the snow. Meet us in the parking lot across from the church at 10:30 am on Sunday, January 28th. Better than that, meet us at 9:15 am for Sunday School before heading out. This is meant to be a time of fellowship as whole families. If there is any way you can come, please do. Women’s Daytime Bible study, Mondays, Jan 29^th through May 21^st from 10:00 until 11:30. This women’s study will be held during Sonshine Preschool hours with a focus of mothers of young children, “mentor moms” and other women from FBC. The study True Woman 101: Devine Design will help you discover the beauty, joy and fulfillment of being exactly who God created you to be. Sign-ups will begin soon. Join us on Friday, February 2nd from 11am-1pm for our JOY (Just Older Youth) Club potluck lunch. This month’s theme will be: “first date” bring a dish to share with all of us that you may have enjoyed on a first date. Maybe you enjoyed some spaghetti, maybe you enjoyed some soup, maybe some steak, whatever brings back a “first date” memory for you bring it for us all to enjoy.


Come for a fun afternoon of Dodgeball on Sunday, February 11th starting at 12:30pm. We will have teams face off in fun exhilarating games. Team registration is $30 per team (your team must consist of only 6 players). Cost to watch the excitement is $5 each for ages 5 and over. We will have food and snacks for purchase as well. All proceeds to benefit our summer mission trip to Chehalis, WA. To register your team please email Kelly at info(at)FBCMonroe(dot)org. Your team registration fee will be required the day of the event in cash or check. When registering please be ready to provide a team name. PLEASE INVITE YOUR FRIENDS THIS IS A PUBLIC EVENT and open to anyone wanting to play. We will have some single players that we will build into teams so feel free to sign up.


Men please plan to come and hear founder and evangelist of Simplicity Ministries, Mike Thibodeaux challenge the men of FBC in their walk with Christ. Mike has been a conference speaker since 1998 and has been challenging both youth and men to live simply and purely devoted to Christ. * This will be a two-day event.  Friday evening message and Saturday morning breakfast and message.  You do not want to miss this! Invite your friends!  No registration required.

Cost: None, but we will be taking up an offering for Mike to cover travel expenses and help support his ministry

We will be taking a team of 30 on a local mission trip July 20-23rd to Chehalis, WA. We will GO and partner with Safe Family Ministries, a non-profit Christian ministry, to build a trail, paint, and landscape. SAFE Family Ministries purpose is to bring emotional, physical and spiritual wellness to those who have suffered low self-esteem from sexual, drug, social, emotional and physical abuses from others, or self-inflicted.

Policies to attend this mission trip: ~must have completed 6th grade (by June 2018)

~a happy servant heart ready to work hard

~all applicants will be required to “apply” no later than February 1st

~if you are a youth and need fundraising you must participate in fundraisers to receive any funds

~Deposit of $50 due no later than February 1st to hold your spot

~Complete cost of the trip is $200 per person (this includes lodging and meals while on location)

~ONLY 30 SPOTS SO APPLY QUICKLY. For questions if you are a youth ask Bethany if you are an adult ask Kelly. This mission opportunity is open to any adult or youth in our FBC Church family


We have various FBC t-shirts/sizes we need to purge. We are asking for a $5 donation for each shirt and that donation will go towards our summer mission trip to Chehalis. See Kelly if you would like to take a look!
