Do you have plans for Spring Break? Need something to entertain the kids for a few hours? Come join me as I lead a Spring hike at Lord Hill Regional Park. Meet me Wednesday, April 12th at 9 AM and we will hike as far as the group is interested. We can go just a mile or so to the beaver pond or take more time and explore further afield if everyone is interested. There are many loops possible of various lengths. If it is raining, bring your rain gear and dry clothes for the drive home! Remember to bring a water bottle and some snacks, too. Hope to see you there! Feel free to contact Carol Hurley.

The Annie Armstrong Easter Offering® changes lives forever by empowering North American missionaries to bring the gospel to the lost. With over 269 million lost people, North America and its major cities are some of the most spiritually dark places in the world. Join us on the mission to equip every missionary and reach every lost person in the United States and Canada.  Our church wide goal is $5,020.17, please be in prayer about your gift to this offering. If you did not get a “Flat Annie” last Sunday be sure to grab one this Sunday to send around the world.

Please be sure to take your pictures with her before you send her on an adventure and email ONE of your best pictures to info@fbcmonroe.org.  Also, encourage the person you are mailing it to, to send you a picture back and send all Annie adventure pictures to info@fbcmonroe.org.  REMEMBER:  we will have a prize for the Annie who travels the farthest by Easter Sunday! (with a returned pictured) Inside each Annie packet is a missionary prayer booklet, be sure to be praying for our missionaries on the field daily! Have fun and engage in this interactive hands on project to help spread the word about Annie Armstrong giving!

We invite you to this year’s Sky Valley National Day of Prayer Service at 7pm. It will be a one-hour event to pray for all those “in authority”, for those who serve and for our Nation.  More than ever we need God’s help and blessing as we seek Him for the “wisdom from above…that is…first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.” (James 3:17)
