Get a head start on this Sunday’s message titled “The WORD that Changes Lives” in John 1:1-14.

  • This Saturday at 8:30am, we are going to host an informal meeting here at the Church in the Chapel to discuss our next 12 weeks of discipleship.  It will be a time when we can all talk and plan together and also hopefully identify some people who feel the Lord leading them to possibly lead a discipleship group of a specific kind on Sunday mornings.  One thing we do know is that our class lineup this first trimester has been fantastic.  Our children’s classes are thriving.  Our youth classes are thriving.  And, our adult classes are thriving.  We want to have that same kind of focus and excitement when we go into this next trimester.  Join us for the discussion and breakfast.
  • There will be no Ladies Bible study- Tuesday, the 22nd.  See you all again on November 29th.
  • From your office staff here at FBC we would like to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving and a peaceful and loving time with family!

FBC is excited to showcase our 2nd annual Taproot Theatre Production on Saturday, December 17th! This year they will perform “Hark the Harold” live. We are not requiring any RSVP’s to this event.  ALL seating will be on a ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS the day of the event. Doors open at 6:50pm.  Come enjoy dessert and coffee from 6:50-7:20pm.  The show begins promptly at 7:30pm (no admittance after 7:25pm). This is a FREE event, so be sure to invite your friends, family and neighbors. Childcare will be provided for those in Kindergarten and below. This is open to the community and is a popular FREE event.  Seats will be filled on a first come first served basis when the doors open, so you may want to plan to arrive early.  We will have fun door prize drawings as well so don’t miss this year’s Christmas show!

And as a reminder for all your gift buying the Puerto Rico Mission Team will gladly wrap your gifts for you all by donation.  Bring your gifts in on Sunday, December 11th and they will wrap them up right after church.  Thank you for your support!

Your Mission Team introduced our gift giving trees to you on Sunday.  We have adopted 5 families for Christmas and each family has specific gift requests on these trees.  We are asking, if you are able, to purchase a gift to bless these families please grab a tag on Sunday.  Be sure to wrap the gift AND attach the tag to the gift before returning it no later than Sunday, December 11th.  Thank you all for your continued devotion to the welfare and needs of our community!
